HOW TO GET DRAKE BAY

BY BOAT: The boats leave from Sierpe at 11:30 and at 15:30 (20$/p). It's recommendable to book in advance through your accommodation. You pay in cash directly in the boat. If you have a car, you can park it in the Restaurant "Las Vegas" ($6 per day). From Drake boats leave at 7:15  and at 14:30 (20$).

BY CAR: The road to Drake Bay is passable by 4x4 car, however, it's recommendable to call us one or two days in advance in order to know the weather and road conditions (especially in rainy season).

BY BUS:  It's possible to get Palmar Norte by bus and from there to Sierpe take a collective taxi. The best route to get here from San JosĆ© is by Costanera road with Tracopa company (www.tracopacr.com). The trip from San JosĆ© to Palmar takes about 5h.

BY PLANE: Flights from San José www.flysansa.com. Taxi from the airport 10$/p.

SHUTLE:  In high season sometimes is possible to get Sierpe from San JosĆ©, Quepos, Manuel Antonio or Uvita by collective taxi. Contact directly with the taxi driver: transalvarezso@hotmail.com.
